Hi! I'm Kerrie

I'm the artist, gardener, and deep-feeling human behind Tending Wild Studio.

I’ve been making and selling art since I was ten, when I needed a 10-speed bike and my parents told me to earn it. What I didn’t know then was that I’d never stop making things.

Now I live on a little farm in Oregon where I grow flowers, paint what blooms, and tend to all kinds of things — from messy ideas to from-scratch meals. My cat and chickens think they’re in charge, especially in the summer (my favorite season, hands down — even though I do love a good pumpkin spice moment).

My newest venture is the Petals in Post Club — a monthly art subscription that brings a bit of the garden to your mailbox. Each envelope includes a 5x7 floral print (printed on real watercolor paper), a seed info card, and a note from me — wrapped with care. A love letter from the garden.

It’s the kind of mail I wish the world had more of: thoughtful, hand-tended, personal.

Fun facts about me:

  • I'm left-handed
  • I have a special love for tuxedo cats (3 so far)
  • I love spicy food
  • I could spend hours in the garden counting bumblebees sleeping in the dahlias in the gloaming
  • Slow living, good people, generosity, creativity, and great food make the world pretty perfect

Thanks for stopping by. If you have any questions or want to say hi, find me over on Instagram, or join my email list below (and I'll send you a cool Maker's Gifting Kit to help with your handmade gifting).
